These terms apply to your use of the EVChargd website and to any service you ask us to provide. "EVChargd", "we", "us" and "our" means EVChargd (ABN 43 152 377 989). By using this website or asking us to quote or arrange an installation, you agree to these terms.

Who we are and what we do

EVChargd arranges and project-manages EV charger installations. We are not the electricians — all electrical work is carried out by licensed, insured electricians we engage on your behalf, and every installation includes a Certificate of Compliance. We coordinate the quote, scheduling, paperwork, and any grant applications you ask us to handle.

Quotes and pricing

Every job is quoted individually after we understand your vehicle, property and power supply. A quote is an estimate based on the information available at the time and may be adjusted if the actual site conditions differ from what was described (for example, extra cabling, switchboard upgrades, or access requirements). We will always talk you through any change before work proceeds. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise.

5% Price Beat Guarantee

Found a cheaper quote for the same installation? Show us a genuine written quote from a licensed Australian competitor for a comparable (like-for-like) EV charger installation, and we'll beat it — your price will be 5% below their total quoted price for the equivalent work.

To keep it fair for everyone, the guarantee applies on these terms:

1. 1.It applies to residential, install-only jobs — where you or your dealer supply the charger unit and we arrange the installation.
2. 2.The competing quote must be a written, itemised quote from a licensed Australian electrical business, dated within the last 14 days and still valid.
3. 3.The quote must be genuinely like-for-like: the same or equivalent scope of work — comparable charger type and output, cabling distance, switchboard work, mounting and site conditions.
4. 4.It must be a genuine, obtainable quote — not a one-off, clearance, auction, staff, trade, 'cash' or otherwise non-standard price, and not a quote we are unable to verify with the competitor.
5. 5.It excludes the supply of the charger unit itself, and excludes commercial, fleet and strata work.
6. 6.It applies to the installation price only. Government grants, rebates and finance offers are separate — we already pass those through, and they aren't part of the price being compared.
7. 7.The claim must be made before you book with us, not after your job is done, and can't be combined with any other discount or offer.
8. 8.One claim per installation. We verify the competing quote before confirming, and — acting reasonably — our assessment of whether a quote is genuine and comparable is final.

Bookings and cancellations

A booking is confirmed once we've agreed the scope and date with you in writing. If you need to change or cancel, let us know as early as you can. Where we've already incurred costs on your behalf (for example a scheduled electrician or ordered materials), we may pass on reasonable costs actually incurred.

Grants and rebates

We help you identify and apply for government grants and rebates, but eligibility and amounts are decided by the relevant government body, not by us. We can't guarantee that any grant will be approved or paid.

Warranties and your consumer rights

Installation workmanship is warranted by the licensed electrician who carries out the work, and the charger hardware carries its manufacturer's warranty. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which applies in addition to these terms.

Our liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any loss connected with our services is limited to re-supplying the service or the cost of re-supplying it. We are not liable for delays or issues caused by third parties, incorrect information provided to us, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
