What it is
In Australia the Tesla Wall Connector uses a standard Type 2 connector, so it charges Teslas and — despite the name — most other EVs too. It's a tethered wall charger (the cable is attached), delivers up to around 7 kW on single-phase power, and pairs with the Tesla app for scheduling and monitoring. It's popular for a reason: clean design, solid build, and it just works.
You bought it — we install it
Supplying your own charger is one of the most common ways our customers come to us. We treat a customer-supplied Wall Connector exactly like any other install: switchboard assessment, dedicated protected circuit, tidy cable run, safety testing, and a Certificate of Electrical Compliance at the end. If your car's still on the way, we can usually fit it before your delivery date.

A couple of things to check
- Single vs three-phase. Most homes are single-phase, where the Wall Connector runs at up to ~7 kW — plenty for overnight charging. Three-phase homes can charge faster if your car supports it.
- Switchboard capacity. Older boards sometimes need attention before adding any charger. We check this up front, never on the day.
